The venue and program format are being selected to provide an exceptional environment for productive discussions that will build on current knowledge and develop useful (or innovative) ideas for future research.

We hope that this program will help to advance understanding of low back pain and improve the quality of both primary care and research in this area.

Program

Any contribution aiming at improving research or clinical practice on low back pain (especially in primary care) will be welcome at Forum IX. Major areas will be:

  1. Research focusing on improving results in clinical practice; (evidence based) in-the-box and out-of-the-box thinking.
  2. Obstacles to improving clinical practice through research.
  3. Attempts to overcome obstacles to improving clinical practice through research.
  4. Methodological issues and challenges for research on LBP.

The program is currently being built around keynote sessions, workshops, oral presentations and poster presentations.

The final Program will be decided by Sept 4th, 2007, although there will be information updates before that. So please check the website regularly.
